1 serving
- 1 x (140g) Boneless chicken thigh filet
- 1 x Tomato1 x Hiyashi Chuka Noodles
- 1L Water (For boiling noodles)
- Sesame Salad Dressing
- Teriyaki Chicken Sauce (Yaki Tori No Tare)
- 1 tbsp Roasted White Sesame (For garnishing)
Method
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10-15 minutes
- Gently filet and thin the thicker parts of the chicken thigh. Be careful not to cut all the way through the chicken piece. This is to create an even distribution of meat to cook all the way through.
- Apply a generous amount of Teriyaki Chicken sauce for marinating; make sure to distribute the sauce all over the chicken thigh. Set aside for 5-10 minutes.
- Prepare 1L of water for cooking the noodles. Bring the water to a boil on high heat and cook the noodles for 2 minutes.
- Drain the noodles under cold water and set aside.
- Prepare 1 tomato by dicing into cubes.
- Cook the chicken on medium heat, 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Drizzle a small amount of Teriyaki Chicken sauce before you remove the cooked chicken to create a more flavorsome taste.
- Remove your Teriyaki Chicken from the pan and cut into slices.
- Prepare your dish by garnishing the diced tomato on top of the noodles. Pour a generous amount of Cold Noodle Sauce (The sachet that comes with the Hiyashi Chuka Noodles) onto the cold noodles.
- Pour the Sesame Salad dressing over the noodles and tomato combination.
- Serve the sliced Teriyaki Chicken alongside of the noodles and sprinkle some white sesame on top.
- Enjoy!
