Eastern Dragon
Teppan Yaki Soba made easy. Feel free to adjust the recipe by adding different ingredients such as a meat substitute or your favourite vegetables.
Ingredients
2 servings
- 2 packets of Teppan Yaki Soba Noodle
- ½ (100g) Carrot
- ¼ (350g) Cabbage
- 150g Streaky Bacon
- 2 tbsp Oil
Other ingredients you can add:
- Seafood (Cuttlefish, Squid, Fish Balls)
- Other meats (Chicken Thigh)
- Tofu
- Soy meat
- Onion
- Capsicum
Method
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20-30 minutes
- Firstly cut the cabbage into thin shreds.
- Peel the carrot and then slice in an angle, and then into thin pieces.
- Dice the streaky bacon into small pieces.
- With a bit of oil, stir fry the streaky bacon using medium heat on a pan. Set bacon aside when cooked through.
- With a bit of oil, stir fry the carrots for 30 seconds or so. Add the cabbage and stir together for another minute.
- When the vegetables are softening, add 2 packets of the Teppan Yaki Soba Noodles. Place side by side in the vegetables, and covering the noodles with the vegetables to help heat up the noodles.
- With the moisture of the cabbage and the heat from the pan, the noodles should slowly loosen up while u toss the noodles. Do not try to force the noodles to loosen up, otherwise the noodles will break.
- When the noodles have loosened, add the packets of seasoning from the 2 packs of Teppan Yaki Soba.
- Add the bacon last and stir fry until combined.
